5-in-1 Collagen

How it works
How it works
Most collagen supplements give you one or two types, usually from a single source. Your body doesn't use collagen that way — different types build different tissues.
Types I and III are the collagen in skin, hair, nails and the connective tissue that stretches through pregnancy and has to recover afterwards. They come here from hydrolysed bovine peptides, marine peptides and bone broth collagen.
Type II is the collagen in cartilage, which carries the additional load through pregnancy and the years of lifting that follow. It comes from chicken bone broth collagen.
Types V and X come from eggshell membrane, and are involved in tissue and bone development.
Everything here is hydrolysed, meaning the collagen is broken into smaller peptides before it reaches you — which is what allows it to be absorbed rather than simply digested as protein. Collagen is unusually rich in glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, the amino acids your body uses as raw material to build its own.

How to use & good to know
How to use & good to know
Drink daily, stirred into coffee, tea, water, a smoothie or anything else you're already drinking. It's unflavoured, so it disappears into most things.
Give it around 12 weeks. Skin, hair and nail changes are slow because they're structural — you're supporting tissue that takes months to turn over. Joint comfort often shows sooner.
Vitamin C helps. Your body uses vitamin C to build collagen, so taking this alongside a vitamin C source, or a meal with fruit or vegetables, makes sense.
Collagen isn't a complete protein. It's low in some essential amino acids, so it complements the protein in your diet rather than replacing it.
Pregnant or breastfeeding? Collagen is a food-based protein and generally well tolerated, but check with your healthcare provider before starting anything new.
Already taking a collagen supplement? Check your totals before doubling up.
Contains fish, egg and chicken — check the ingredient list carefully if you have allergies.
