Why this shop exists
There's a particular kind of tiredness that comes from being the only person in the room who knows every detail of your own case.
You've read the studies. You know your AMH. You've stood in a pharmacy aisle at nine at night reading the back of a box, trying to work out whether 100mg is enough, whether it clashes with what your specialist prescribed, whether any of it does anything at all.
I did that for nearly five years.
Multiple surgeries. Appointments with some of the best fertility specialists in South Africa. And in all that time, no one could tell me which supplements were actually worth taking. So I did what you're probably doing right now — I researched it myself, late at night, alone.
What I couldn't find was a South African shop that had already done that filtering. So I built one.
I started importing the products I'd researched, from brands I could stand behind. In April 2021, after almost five years of trying, I fell pregnant.
How I choose what I sell
Evidence first. Every product here is one I've looked into properly — ingredients, dosages, the research behind them. If it doesn't hold up, it doesn't go on the shelf, no matter what the margin looks like.
Named ingredients, real amounts. No proprietary blends hiding a pinch of something behind a long word.
I'll tell you how long it takes. Eggs mature over roughly 90 days. Sperm regenerate over roughly 74. Anyone promising results in a fortnight is selling you something.
Discreet, always. Plain packaging to your door. Cape Town in 24–48 hours, everywhere else in South Africa in 48–96.
Six years, and I still pack every order myself
Since 2020, more than 4,000 orders have gone out from here to homes across South Africa.
There's no warehouse. There's no team. There's me. Every parcel is packed by someone who knows what's in it and why you ordered it. Sometimes there's a small gift tucked inside. Sometimes a card, in my handwriting.
Whatever this business earns goes back into it — better products, better guidance, and the small things that make a hard month slightly less hard.
