Pure Inositol Powder

How it works
How it works
Most PCOS symptoms trace back to one thing: how your body handles insulin. When cells respond poorly to insulin, the pancreas produces more of it, and high insulin drives the ovaries to produce more testosterone — which is what disrupts ovulation, and what shows up as irregular cycles, acne, unwanted hair growth and stubborn weight.
Inositol works upstream of all of it. It acts as a second messenger in the insulin signalling pathway, helping cells respond to insulin properly again — which is why it supports menstrual regularity and normal ovarian function rather than masking symptoms.
The 40:1 ratio matters. Myo-inositol and D-chiro inositol do different jobs in the body, and 40:1 is the proportion found naturally in a healthy ovary. It's the ratio used in the clinical research, not a number chosen for a label.
Inositol works on a timeline, and it's slower than most people expect. Energy and cravings often shift in the first four to six weeks. Cycles and ovulation usually take two to three months, because your body is re-establishing a rhythm rather than switching one on.

How to use & good to know
How to use & good to know
One scoop in 250ml water or any cold drink. It's unflavoured, so it works in juice, smoothies or anything else you're already drinking.
How much depends on what else you're taking. If you're using this alongside JOOCE Hormone Balance Powder, take one scoop in the evening — the powder already gives you 4000mg in the morning. If Pure Inositol is your only inositol, take one scoop in the morning and one in the evening. You can also split scoops in half and spread them across the day, depending on how significant your insulin resistance is.
What the tub gives you. 70 scoops. That's around two months at one scoop daily, or around five weeks at two scoops daily. Worth knowing before you order so you're not caught out mid-cycle.
Give it two to three months. Cravings and energy often shift sooner, but cycles and ovulation take longer to respond.
Safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding, unlike our Hormone Balance Powder — though we'd still recommend checking with your healthcare provider first.
On metformin or any diabetes medication? Inositol also affects insulin sensitivity. Speak to your doctor before starting — this isn't a reason not to take it, but your doctor should know.

On blood pressure medication? Ubiquinol may add to the blood-pressure-lowering effect. Check with your healthcare practitioner first. The same applies if you're on blood thinners and taking more than two capsules a day.
Possible side effects include loss of appetite, diarrhoea and heartburn. Taking it with food helps.

Nothing else in the tub
No sweeteners, no flavouring, no fillers. Just inositol, so you can add it to whatever you're already taking.
