How it works
CoQ10 exists in two forms. Ubiquinone is the conventional form and the one used in most fertility research; your body converts it into ubiquinol before it can be used. Ubiquinol skips that step — it arrives already active.
That conversion becomes less efficient with age, which is the case for ubiquinol in women over 40 and in anyone whose absorption is compromised. Eggs are among the most energy-hungry cells in the body, and across the roughly 90 days an egg takes to mature, CoQ10 supports the mitochondrial energy that maturation depends on while protecting the cell against oxidative stress. The same applies to sperm across their ~74-day cycle.

Also contains: rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) leaf extract, soy lecithin in palm, rapeseed and sunflower oil, fish gelatine, water, copper complex of chlorophyllin, titanium dioxide. Sugar-free.

One capsule twice daily, with food. Don't chew. CoQ10 is fat-soluble, so taking it with a meal containing some fat improves absorption. That's 100mg daily from a 60-capsule pack — a one-month supply.
Give it 90 days. Eggs take around 90 days to mature and sperm around 74, so three months of consistent daily use is the fair test.
Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Safety hasn't been established — stop if you fall pregnant and speak to your healthcare provider about a prenatal instead.
On blood pressure medication? Ubiquinol may add to the blood-pressure-lowering effect. Check with your healthcare practitioner first. The same applies if you're on blood thinners and taking more than two capsules a day.
Possible side effects include loss of appetite, diarrhoea and heartburn. Taking it with food helps.
