Tired, weak, losing hair or noticing brittle nails? Check your iron at home in 5 minutes.

Rapid at-home ferritin finger-prick test with clear results in 5 minutes. Check iron levels for fatigue, hair loss, TTC & pregnancy. Private & easy. Fast SA delivery.

What it is: A fast, accurate and easy-to-use home test that helps you understand whether low iron may be behind symptoms like fatigue, weakness, hair loss, brittle nails or shortness of breath. IronView detects low ferritin — the body's main form of stored iron — from a small fingerstick whole-blood sample, giving you clear results in just 5 minutes, in the privacy of your own home.

Supports:

  • Early insight into iron deficiency, often the first thing to drop before other blood markers change
  • Checking iron status while trying to conceive, during pregnancy, and postpartum
  • Understanding everyday symptoms — tiredness, weakness, hair loss, brittle nails, breathlessness
  • Simple at-home screening without a clinic visit or lab wait
  • Tracking your levels over time alongside your healthcare provider

Description: Iron is one of the most common deficiencies in women, and it rarely announces itself clearly — it shows up as exhaustion you can't explain, hair that's thinning, nails that break, or feeling winded going up the stairs. Ferritin (stored iron) is one of the earliest and most reliable signs something's off, often dropping well before a standard blood count flags it.

This matters most around the fertility and pregnancy journey. Going into conception with healthy iron stores gives your body reserves to draw on; during pregnancy your iron needs rise sharply to support your growing baby and increased blood volume; and after birth — especially with blood loss during delivery and the demands of breastfeeding — low iron is extremely common and easily missed in the blur of newborn life. Knowing your ferritin at each of these stages means you and your provider can act early instead of guessing.

IronView makes that check effortless: a quick fingerstick, a few minutes' wait, and a clear result at home — no appointment, no lab queue, no waiting days for a callback.

What's in the kit: Everything needed for one test — test cassette, sterile lancet, buffer solution, pipette/dropper and step-by-step instructions. Measures: ferritin (stored iron) from a whole-blood fingerstick sample.

How to use: Wash and warm your hands, prick the side of a fingertip with the sterile lancet, collect the small blood sample with the dropper, add it to the test cassette with the buffer, and read your result at 5 minutes. Follow the full instructions in the kit, and discuss your result with your healthcare provider — especially if you're trying to conceive, pregnant or breastfeeding.

Note: For at-home screening use. A result is a guide, not a diagnosis, confirm any low or concerning result with your healthcare provider, who may recommend a full blood panel. Single-use; do not reuse the lancet or cassette. Keep out of reach of children; store in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Check the expiry date before use.

How it works

Every egg and sperm cell runs on energy made by mitochondria — and mitochondria run on CoQ10, which naturally falls as we age. Ubiquinol is CoQ10 in its active, already-reduced form, so your body absorbs it more readily than standard CoQ10 (ubiquinone) — more of each dose reaches the cells that need it. Across the ~90-day egg-maturation and ~74-day sperm cycles, that supports mitochondrial energy in developing eggs and sperm, with antioxidant protection against the oxidative stress that ages reproductive cells.

What's inside

Per capsule: Ubiquinol (CoQ10) 50mg. Free from gluten, dairy and artificial colourants. (Confirm excipients on the Solal pack.)

How to use & good to know

Take 2 capsules daily (100mg) with a meal containing some fat — CoQ10 is fat-soluble, so food boosts absorption.

For fertility, most specialists suggest at least 3 months, in line with the ~90-day egg and ~74-day sperm cycles. 60 capsules = 30-day supply at 2/day.

If pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication (especially blood-pressure or blood-thinning medication), check with your healthcare provider first.

Discontinue if any adverse reaction occurs. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Keep out of reach of children.

The absorbable form (ubiquinol):

CoQ10 supports the mitochondrial energy developing eggs rely on, key from 35, when your own levels drop.
